MCSD

Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD) certification is recommended for professionals or students in a 4-year academic program. The MCSD builds off the MTA certifications for computer science. Earning MCSD certification while in school enables students to acquire job-like software development experience in a classroom setting. Becoming an MCSD will prepare students to be competitive for mid-level software development jobs.

Demonstrate your expertise at designing and developing fast and fluid Windows 8 apps. There are two paths to achieving this certification—using HTML5 or C#.
Have you heard about the upcoming Windows 8.1 and Visual Studio 2013 updates?
If you’re leveraging your existing web programming skills in JavaScript, or starting from scratch on a new website, we recommend choosing the HTML5 path. If you‘re a .NET developer and are planning to create Windows 8 apps, choose the C# path.
